Each lesson will have a first theoretical part and a second part with exciting tasting experiences guided and explained by the teachers, with a prestigious and accessible wine list.

The Teachers
Assosommelier teachers are expert experts in the subject and combine their technical skills with teaching expertise to ensure a lesson that is rich in content and at the same time useful and engaging. accessible. Each course is taught by multiple instructors to provide a variety of styles and ensure each lesson has the instructor best suited to the specific topic. The instructor is also an excellent wine taster to best guide students through the tasting experiences.

In-Person Teaching
Assosommelier chooses only in-person teaching to preserve the quality of learning, given that:
• The winery visit is an important learning experience and must be completed on-site.
• The wine tasting for each lesson is related to the theoretical content and cannot be postponed.
• The solutions for the tasting experiments for some lessons are prepared on-site.
• The course requires a large number of high-quality wines to be tasted. It is therefore impossible to provide individual supplies while maintaining the same quality and keeping participation fees affordable.
• The collegial interactivity of the in-person tastings is guaranteed and is an integral part of the learning experience.
• • In-class lessons, knowledge is consolidated and healthy, lasting social relationships are developed.

The teaching method allows everyone to achieve the highest level of depth.
• There is no maximum number of absences, but we expect full participation.
• Attendance at the First Level of the Salerno Sommelier Course entitles participants to the Wine Taster Qualification Certificate and allows them to enroll in the Second Level. Attendance at the Third Level and passing the qualifying exam earns them the Professional Sommelier Qualification Certificate, recognized in Italy and abroad.

Teaching Materials
The teaching materials distributed during the course are designed to facilitate learning and make
the lessons easy. They are high-quality, proven useful, and practical.

Educational Visit
The winery visit is an important learning experience and must be completed on-site. Wine tastings for each class are related to the theoretical content and cannot be postponed. The tasting solutions for some classes are prepared on-site. The course requires a large number of high-quality wines to be tasted. Therefore, it is impossible to provide individual wines while maintaining the same quality and affordable participation fees. The collegial interactivity of in-person tastings is guaranteed and is an integral part of the learning experience. Classroom lessons consolidate knowledge and develop healthy, lasting social relationships.

Participation fee and payment method:
The participation fee for the First Level Sommelier Course in Salerno is €390.
The fee can be paid in two ways, chosen by the participant: Option 1: RESERVE A PLACE WITH A DEPOSIT ONLY, i.e., by paying a €150 deposit upon registration and then the balance within 3 days before the course begins or when all available places are filled. Second option: FULL PAYMENT + ASSOCIATION REGISTRATION with full payment directly upon registration.
In the last week before the course begins, since the deposit and balance must be paid within a few days, it will be possible to opt only for FULL PAYMENT + ASSOCIATION REGISTRATION.
Payment of the fee can be made securely and transparently by credit card, bank transfer, Bancomat Pay, or PayPal, among other methods. Cash is also accepted upon payment, but we ask that you limit this to cases of force majeure.
IN THE CASE OF PAYMENTS BY BANK TRANSFER: registration is valid but confirmed only upon receipt of the transfer. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your payment has been received.
For each payment, our administration will send a VAT-exempt receipt, pursuant to Art. 148 of Presidential Decree 917/86.
The receipt is tax deductible according to current regulations for eligible individuals.
THE COURSE IS RESERVED FOR MEMBERS. Anyone can easily become a member by paying the required fee and completing the registration form for the first lesson of the course.
The membership fee is €50 and is valid for activities until December 31st of the current year.
For courses starting after July 1st of each year, the initial membership fee is €70 and is valid until December 31st of the following year. (Example: registration on September 21, 2023, expiration date December 31, 2024)
