🎵 The ELECTROBOX project returns to Bar Verdi this time grappling with another of the many possible declinations of electronic music, that is, the one that merges and contaminates with jazz, both for the approach and for the repertoire which in fact consists not only of original compositions, but also of some of the most iconic American standards, paying homage to artists such as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Ahmad Jamal and John Coltrane.
The challenge of this project is to manage the coexistence, almost the "confrontation-clash", between the expressive freedom of jazz improvisation and the rigidity of the musical programming of sequencers, synths and drum machines typical of electronics.
