A night of great music and a live show to celebrate the cultural embrace between Italy and the Canary Islands.
For the first time together on the stage of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, the famous Gran Canaria Big Band will perform their magnificent repertoire alongside some of the most beloved musical artists of Italian culture and television.
The unique voice of Tosca, an Italian singer known worldwide for her versatility and ability to express world music alongside her musicians; the songwriting of Francesco Baccini, heir to Fabrizio De André and capable of oscillating between pop and swing; the irony, comedy, and poetry of Neri Marcoré, a film and television actor, comedian, and inspiration for Beauty on numerous international stages... all together led by a master conductor of the stature of Duccio Forzano, visionary director of many successful editions of the Sanremo Festival and Eurovision 2022.
With them from Gran Canaria are the Schola Cantorum Choir of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, conducted by Maestro Stefano Degano, and the Youth Vocal Ensemble of the Liceo Sandro Pertini in Genoa, conducted by Maestro Luca Ferrari.
For the first time, everyone will be together in the Canary Islands for a grand evening, sponsored by the Italian Vice Consulate of Arona, local institutions, and numerous businesses and associations supporting the event.
All the artists present will perform in Italian and Spanish, in a Star-studded Night of Excellence and Talent... in fact, we will experience La Grande Bellezza together.
