"The day I get married, it must be my pleasure..." sang the theme song of what was undoubtedly the favorite program among listeners on the islands: La Ronda. This transistor radio slot triggers an entire stage composition where there will be room for those declarations of love, consultations, moments where tenderness vibrated through the airwaves.
The popular group, which has constantly reinvented itself, once again delves into artistic and performing styles different from those usually displayed in the realm of popular music made in the Canary Islands, and, above all, to tell and bring closer the feeling behind the music with which our people have identified in one way or another and which has led to artistic growth, inspired by those radio nights in which they will evoke the musical predilections of an audience that, transistor in hand and at nighttime, will surprise us with titles such as 'Un ramito de violetas', 'Colorines' or 'Eres tú', among many other songs that have overcome time and already live on in the popular imagination. Kiko Barroso will be in charge of hosting this unique radio broadcast, in which Los Gofiones will be accompanied by the Gran Canaria Big Band and one of the greatest female voices on the Canarian music scene: Isabel González. The stage direction will be directed by Gran Canarian actor and director Jose Carlos Campos and performed by actress Yanely Hernández.
