A magical world, full of surprises and humor, created by one of the most important lines in contemporary circus.
The coat racks become a dragon, the door a spellcasting machine, and the wallpaper a princess dress. This is the poetic and magical world of Aurélia, a kleptomaniac who suddenly finds herself under the control of the animated objects she “borrowed.”
Victoria Thierrée Chaplin once again creates a surreal universe filled with wonder and humor for her daughter Aurélia. An elegant and ethereal figure moves through this space without known rules, dancing alone or in the company of a hussar, the performer Jaime Martínez.

In the universe of Victoria Thierrée-Chaplin and Aurelia Thierrée, there is a wealth of humor and the brilliance of a sweet madness. Bells and Spells recounts the peculiar journey of Aurelia Thierrée, who is under the control of objects that, using ethereal imagery, unpredictable objects, and captivating dances, blend the marvelous with the strange.

A coat rack begins to move. Seats and a table slide, while a wall opens to reveal a pair of dancers. A dress is suddenly moved by an autonomous life... As always in these creations, the strange merges with the marvelous. All kinds of mirages make you smile and dream. In Bells and Spells, neither logic, reason, nor seriousness have a voice. Aurelia Thierrée guides us to hallucinatory lands. Libertarian lands that combine surreal humor and a sense of the magical.
