The legendary Madrid band Revólver returns to Gran Canaria with their thirteenth album 'Playlist'.
Revólver is back, with other people's songs, but in the style of Carlos Goñi with 'Playlist'. His first project made up of covers of songs by artists who have accompanied him throughout his life and who inspire him today to continue being one of the most emblematic rock singers in the country.
This soundtrack created especially by Carlos Goñi is made up of eleven songs chosen with heart and soul. It is an album of covers, yes, but he clarifies: "not from the people who made me dedicate myself to this (that's what 'Adictos a la Euforia' is for), but from those who make it worthwhile for me to continue doing it beyond what excites me to play my own songs."
Revólver is the hallmark of the singer, arranger, producer, composer and guitarist Carlos Goñi, with whom he has had a prolific career full of success. Songs that are part of the history of Spanish music, such as: El roce de tu piel, Si es tan solo amor, Dentro de ti, Esclavo de tu amor, Mi rendición, Calle Mayor, El dorado, San Pedro or El faro de Lisboa, among many others.
With his second album 'Revólver Básico' he sold 250,000 copies and went on a tour of 100 shows. Today, with his twenty albums throughout his career and the singles he recorded with the groups before Revólver, Garage and Comité Cisne, he has sold 1,500,000 copies. His versatility and good work on stage means that he can fill venues with just his guitar, as he demonstrated on his tour 'A solas' (2007). He also dazzles with live performances, accompanied by other musicians, as was the case with 'Argán', recorded entirely in Marrakech. In 2023, he surprised again with 'Adictos a la Euforia', a true declaration of intent that in its week of release became number one in physical sales.
