‘Check Out’ is a hilarious critique of the frenetic lifestyle we lead. A story about the importance of family full of surprises and symbolism like an eventful trip to enjoy together without leaving the lobby of a hotel.
Ernesto's life happens as a bellboy in the lobby of a hotel. Between suitcases, transporting other people's lives, she dreams of leaving her children a better future. However, he also longs to spend more time with his family. A character who, between misunderstandings, a game of clown and a lot of fun, discovers throughout an unforeseen day of work that there is no better future than living enjoying the present.
What seems like just another day, routine and uneventful, turns into a deranged task: finding the owner of each suitcase, since Ernesto has lost the list to identify the owner of each item. Thanks to his efforts, he progressively finds each of the owners. Why is it empty? Whose suitcase is that? These are the questions that assail the protagonist, abducted by an aggressive obsession with career advancement.
The work is designed for various readings and interpretations, appropriate to the age of each viewer. The Chaplinesque aesthetic and the absence of words envelop the audience in a bizarre gestural theater.

This work has received a nomination for the Max Awards, a FETEN Award and two Oh! Awards, in addition to numerous international recognitions.

ADRIAN CONDE
The creator and performer of this work, Adría Conde, is an acclaimed illusionist, producer and director of his own shows. In addition, he is artistic director of different clown and magic festivals. The author of 'Check out' trained in circus and magic at the Circo Criollo and El Bazar de Magia in Buenos Aires, the city from which he is a native.
Likewise, Conde has been awarded on many occasions. He has the Fetén Award for Best Performer 2024, among other awards.
