We have a Latin Grammy in concert! On our stage, Alex Cuba, Cuban singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Canada, whose work is distinguished by the avant-garde and multicultural nature of his sound.

Alex Cuba subverts what we traditionally understand as Cuban music, by creatively mixing elements of different types of music, such as jazz, pop or funk, with Latin American popular tradition. All this accompanied by lyrics of high poetic flight.
Throughout his career and with 9 albums, Alex has won two Juno Awards, four Latin Grammys, and in 2022 an American Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album as an artist, producer and engineer, in what was his fourth nomination for the same.
By renouncing the conventional stereotypes that typify much of the Latin music landscape, Alex is defining his own “Latin Soul” genre, keeping his Afro-Cuban roots in mind and teaching the influence of trova and son, which constitute, for the exquisiteness of its melodies and the flavor of its rhythms, the fundamental weaponry to bring to the present and propel the essential and eternal aspects of the singer-songwriter genre into the future.
