With already a Goya Award for Best Original Song in her short musical career, María José Llergo takes the stage boldly and to do the most radical thing in life, which is to do good.  He transmits it to us with his voice, with great purity and transparency in his new work 'Ultrabelleza'. The long-awaited album by the young artist is the natural evolution of a figure willing to break the mold with a universal art that embraces and values what is different.
'Ultrabelleza', their most recent album, was released in October 2023 and is a celebration of diversity and difference, being a tribute to freedom. With this project he has obtained outstanding recognition, achieving a score of 7.9 according to Pitchfork. Additionally, it was ranked as the 34th “Best Spanish Album of 2023” by Rolling Stone and recognized as one of the best albums of the year by NPR.  It has also been awarded Best Album of the Year 2023 at the Ruido Awards; number one in the Modern Music category at the El Ojo Crítico Awards on Radio Nacional de España (RNE), and has received the Flamenco en la Piel Award, for its influence on flamenco fashion. With 'Ultrabelleza, the Andalusian singer makes a significant international leap, embarking on a tour of the United States.
María José Llergo is a multidisciplinary artist, standing out as a singer, composer and also playing various instruments. Since the launch of Niña de las Dunas, in 2018, she has experienced dazzling growth, conquering both critics and the international public.
