TR3S years of travel that culminate in the performance of his first great symphony, the number TR3S by Camille Saint-Saëns, known as Symphony with Organ. A complete symphonic display to celebrate the dedication, passion and perseverance of this still young group.
Brass and percussion will resonate to welcome the new times through the notes of Aaron Copland and his Fanfare for the Common Man. TR3S also features the absolute premiere, commissioned by the OCGC, of Ernesto's Geometric Fantasy Mateo, who, in the words of the composer, describes the following:
“The figure of the triangle has fascinated human beings since time immemorial. Great mathematicians such as Thales, Pythagoras or Euclid have surrendered to its angular charms. There are many types of triangles, such as equilateral, Bermuda, love or musical. The triangle is the only instrument with which you can call to eat. The only one capable of piercing the most brutal tutti of an orchestra with its glorious sound. If the number 3 represents perfection, the triangle is perfection made music. This work, therefore, aims to be a celebration of the triangle in all its dimensions, uniting performers and the public in a love song to the number 3, to geometry and to the best of polygons.”
